Dua at the Time of Iftar
Ramadan Supplication
The moment of Iftar is a time when supplications are accepted and mercy descends. To gain its full blessing: 1. Begin Iftar with the remembrance of Allah and a sincere intention. 2. Recite the supplications of Iftar with humility and gratitude. 3. Acknowledge Allah as the true Provider of sustenance. 4. Place complete trust (tawakkul) in Allah for forgiveness and acceptance. 5. Make personal du‘as, for the prayer of a fasting person at Iftar is never rejected. 6. Remember the needy and share food as an act of mercy. 7. End the fast with thankfulness and reliance upon Allah alone. Whoever breaks their fast with remembrance and sincerity is granted forgiveness, answered supplications, and divine mercy.
