Beginning of Ramadan

اللَّهُمَّ قَدْ حَضَرَ شَهْرُ رَمَضَانَ وَقَدِ افْتَرَضْتَ عَلَيْنَا صِيَامَهُ وَأَنْزَلْتَ فِيهِ الْقُرْآنَ هُدًى لِلنَّاسِ وَبَيِّنَاتٍ مِنَ الْهُدَى وَالْفُرْقَانِ

اے اللہ! ماہِ رمضان آ چکا ہے، تو نے اس کے روزے ہم پر فرض کیے اور اسی میں قرآن نازل فرمایا جو لوگوں کے لیے ہدایت اور حق و باطل میں فرق کرنے والا ہے۔

O Allah, the month of Ramadan has arrived. You have made fasting obligatory upon us in it, and You revealed the Qur’an during it as guidance for mankind and clear proofs of guidance and distinction.

Help and Acceptance

اللَّهُمَّ أَعِنَّا عَلَى صِيَامِهِ وَتَقَبَّلْهُ مِنَّا وَتَسَلَّمْهُ مِنَّا

اے اللہ! ہمیں اس کے روزے رکھنے میں مدد فرما، انہیں ہم سے قبول فرما اور پسندیدگی کے ساتھ وصول فرما۔

O Allah, help us to observe its fasts, accept them from us, and receive them from us with approval.

Ease and Well-Being

وَسَلِّمْهُ لَنَا فِي يُسْرٍ مِنْكَ وَعَافِيَةٍ إِنَّكَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ

اور ہمیں آسانی اور عافیت کے ساتھ اسے مکمل کرنے کی توفیق عطا فرما۔ بے شک تو ہر چیز پر قادر ہے۔

And grant us the ability to complete it with ease and good health from You. Indeed, You have power over all things.
