Bismillah – Beginning of Salawaat
بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْمِ
شروع اللہ کے پاک نام سے جو بڑا مہربان نہایت رحم والا ہے
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
بے شک اللہ اور اس کے فرشتے نبی پر درود بھیجتے ہیں اے ایمان والو تم بھی ان پر درود بھیجو اور سلام کرو۔ اے میرے رب میں حاضر ہوں اور خوش ہوں اور تیری پاکی بیان کرتا ہوں۔ اے اللہ محمد و آل محمد پر درود بھیج اور ان پر برکت نازل فرما جیسا کہ تو نے ابراہیم و آل ابراہیم پر درود بھیجا اور برکت نازل فرمائی بے شک تو حمید و مجید ہے۔ اے اللہ محمد و آل محمد پر رحم فرما جیسا کہ تو نے ابراہیم و آل ابراہیم پر رحم فرمایا بے شک تو حمید و مجید ہے۔
Indeed, Allah and His angels send blessings upon the Prophet. O you who have believed, ask [Allah to confer] blessing upon him and ask [Allah to grant him] peace. Here I am at Your service, my Lord, and [so are] the good pleasure and glory are Yours. O Allah, send blessings on Muhammad and the family of Muhammad, and bless Muhammad and the family of Muhammad, as You blessed Ibrahim and the family of Ibrahim. Indeed, You are Praiseworthy and Glorious. O Allah, have mercy on Muhammad and the family of Muhammad as You had mercy on Ibrahim and the family of Ibrahim. Indeed, You are Praiseworthy and Glorious.
اے اللہ محمد و آل محمد پر سلام بھیج جیسا کہ تو نے عالمین میں حضرت نوحؑ پر سلام بھیجا۔ اے اللہ محمد و آل محمد پر احسان فرما جیسا کہ تو نے موسیٰؑ و ہارونؑ پر احسان فرمایا۔ اے اللہ محمد و آل محمد پر درود بھیج جیسا کہ تو نے ہمیں ان کے ذریعے مشرف کیا۔ اے اللہ محمد و آل محمد پر درود بھیج جیسا کہ تو نے ہمیں ان کے ذریعے ہدایت دی۔ اے اللہ محمد و آل محمد پر درود بھیج اور آنحضرتؐ کو مقام محمود پر فائز فرما کہ اولین و آخرین اس پر رشک کریں۔ محمد و آل محمد پر سلام ہو جب تک سورج طلوع و غروب ہوتا رہے۔ محمد و آل محمد پر سلام ہو جب تک آنکھ جھپکتی رہے۔ محمد و آل محمد پر سلام ہو جب تک سلام کیا جاتا رہے۔
O Allah send blessings on Muhammad and the family of Muhammad, as You sent blessings on Nuh among the worlds. O Allah, bestow favor upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad as You bestowed favor upon Musa and Harun. O Allah, send blessings on Muhammad and the family of Muhammad as You honored us through him. O Allah, send blessings on Muhammad and the family of Muhammad as You guided us through him. O Allah, send blessings on Muhammad and the family of Muhammad and raise him to the Praised Station which You have promised him. Indeed, You do not fail in Your promise. Peace be upon Muhammad and his family whenever the sun rises or sets. Peace be upon Muhammad and his family whenever eyes blink or hearts feel at rest. Peace be upon Muhammad and his family whenever the mention of them is made.
اے اللہ محمد و آل محمد پر سلام ہو جب تک فرشتے اللہ کی تسبیح و تقدیس کرتے رہیں۔ محمد و آل محمد پر سلام ہو اولین میں اور آخرین میں اور دنیا و آخرت میں۔ اے اللہ، رب الحرم، رب الركن والمقام، رب الحلال والحرام، اپنے نبی محمد تک ہماری طرف سے سلام پہنچا دے۔ اے اللہ محمد کو بہاء، نضرت، سرور، کرامت، غبطہ، الوسيلة، منزلت، مقام، شرف، رفعت اور شفاعت عطا فرما جو تو نے اپنی مخلوق میں سے کسی کو نہ دیا ہو۔
Peace be upon Muhammad and his family whenever the angels glorify Allah and sanctify Him. Peace be upon Muhammad and his family in the beginning and in the end, and peace be upon Muhammad and his family in this world and the Hereafter. O Allah, Lord of the Sacred Mosque, Lord of the Rukn and Maqam, Lord of the lawful and the unlawful, convey our salam to Your Prophet Muhammad. O Allah grant Muhammad from among Your creation the best of what You have given anyone.
اور محمدؐ کو اس خیر سے بڑھ کر عطا فرما جو تو نے مخلوق میں سے کسی کو دی ہو کئی گنا زیادہ جسے تیرے سوا کوئی شمار نہ کرسکے۔ اے اللہ محمد و آل محمد پر درود بھیج پاکیزہ ترین، بہترین اور بڑھتا ہوا درود جیسا کہ تو نے اپنی مخلوق میں سے کسی پر بھیجا ہو اے سب سے زیادہ رحم کرنے والے۔ اے اللہ امیرالمؤمنین علیؑ پر رحمت فرما، ان کے دوست سے دوستی رکھ اور ان کے دشمن سے دشمنی رکھ اور جو ان کے خون میں شریک ہوا اس پر عذاب کو دوگنا کر۔
And grant Muhammad more good than You granted to any of Your creation, many times over beyond all reckoning. O Allah send the most pure, most excellent, most perfect and most abundant blessings on Muhammad and the children of Muhammad, O Most Merciful. O Allah send blessings on Ali, the Commander of the faithful, befriend his friends and oppose his enemies and punish severely those who shed his blood.
اے اللہ فاطمہؑ بنت نبیؐ پر رحمت فرما اور اس پر لعنت کر جس نے ان کے ذریعے تیرے نبی کو اذیت دی۔ اے اللہ حسنؑ و حسینؑ پر رحمت فرما جو مسلمانوں کے امام ہیں، ان کے دوست سے دوستی رکھ اور ان کے دشمن سے دشمنی رکھ اور جنہوں نے ان کے خون میں شرکت کی ان کا عذاب دوگنا کر۔ اے اللہ علی بن الحسینؑ پر رحمت فرما... اے اللہ محمد بن علیؑ پر رحمت فرما۔
O Allah send blessings on Fatimah the daughter of Your Prophet and curse those who hurt Your Prophet through her. O Allah send blessings on Hasan and Husayn, the leaders of the Muslims, befriend their friends and oppose their enemies and punish severely those who shed their blood. O Allah send blessings on Ali son of Husayn... O Allah send blessings on Muhammad son of Ali.
اے اللہ ان کے بعد آنے والے امام پر رحمت فرما اور ان کے ظہور میں جلدی فرما۔ اے اللہ اپنے نبی کی اولاد پر رحمت فرما۔ اے اللہ اپنے نبی کے بعد ان کے اہل بیتؑ کو زمین میں اقتدار عطا فرما۔
O Allah send blessings on the successor after him and hasten his reappearance. O Allah send blessings on the offspring of Your Prophet and establish the Ahlul Bayt firmly on the earth.
اے اللہ ہمیں ان کے مددگاروں، انصاروں اور حق میں ان کے حامیوں میں قرار دے... بے شک تو سخت عذاب دینے والا ہے۔
O Allah include us among their supporters and helpers in truth openly and secretly... surely You are the most severe in punishment.
Personal Supplication for Mercy and Relief
يا عُدَّتي في كُرْبَتي، وَيا صاحِبي في شِدَّتي، وَيا وَلِيّي في نِعْمَتي، وَيا غايَتي في رَغْبَتي، اَنْتَ السّاتِرُ عَوْرَتي، وَالْمُؤْمِنُ رَوْعَتي، وَالْمُقيلُ عَثْرَتي، فَاغْفِرْ لي خَطيئَتي يا اَرْحَمَ الرّاحِمينَ. اَللّـهُمَّ اِنّي اَدْعُوكَ لِهَمٍّ لا يُفَرِّجُهُ غَيْرُكَ، وَلِرَحْمَة لا تُنالُ إلاّ بِكَ، وَلِكَرْب لا يَكْشِفُهُ إلاّ اَنْتَ، وَلِرَغْبَة لا تُبْلَغُ إلاّ بِكَ، وَلِحاجَة لا يَقْضيها إلاّ اَنْتَ،
اے مصیبت میں میرے سرمایہ، اے سختی میں میرے ساتھی، اے میری نعمت کے نگہبان، اے میری چاہت کے مرکز، تو میرے عیبوں کو چھپانے والا اور خوف میں ڈھارس دینے والا ہے پس میری خطائیں معاف فرما اے سب سے زیادہ رحم کرنے والے۔ اے معبود میں تجھے پکارتا ہوں اس غم کیلئے جسے تیرے سوا کوئی دور نہیں کرسکتا... بے شک تو دعا کا سننے والا قریب سے جواب دینے والا ہے۔
O my support in my troubles, O my companion in my difficulties, O my guardian in my blessings, O the ultimate goal of my desire, You cover my faults and give me security in fear, so forgive my sins O Most Merciful. O Allah I call upon You for the distress which none but You can remove, for the mercy which none but You can grant... surely You are the Hearer of prayers, the Near, the Responder.
اے اللہ، جیسا کہ تو نے مجھے اپنی دعا میں سے جس کی اجازت دی اور جس رحمت سے مجھے اپنے ذکر کی طرف رجوع کرنے کی توفیق دی، ویسا ہی کر کہ تیری شان میں میری دعا قبول ہو، اور جس چیز کی میں نے امید رکھی ہے اس میں تیری فضل کی عوائد ہوں، اور جس چیز سے میں نے تجھ سے خوف کیا ہے اس سے نجات ہو۔ اگر میں تیری رحمت کو پہنچانے کا اہل نہیں ہوں تو بے شک تیری رحمت اہل ہے کہ مجھے پہنچے اور مجھے سمیٹ لے۔ اگر میں دعا کے قبول ہونے کا اہل نہیں ہوں تو بے شک تو فضل کا اہل ہے، اور تیری رحمت ہر چیز کو سمیٹنے والی ہے، پس مجھے اپنی رحمت سمیٹ لے۔ اے میرے معبود اے کریم، میں تجھ سے تیرے کریم چہرے کے وسیلے سے سوال کرتا ہوں کہ تو محمد و آل محمد پر درود بھیجے، اور میرا غم دور کرے، اور میری پریشانی اور غم کو دور کرے، اور مجھے اپنی رحمت سے نوازے، اور مجھے اپنے فضل سے رزق دے۔ بے شک تو دعاؤں کو سننے والا قریب سے جواب دینے والا ہے۔
O Allah, as You have made it possible for me to ask You for what You have permitted and to turn to You in mercy for what You have decreed, make it possible for me to receive the answer to my prayer, the return of Your favors for what I have hoped for, and deliverance from what I have feared. If I am not worthy of receiving Your mercy, then surely Your mercy is worthy of reaching me and encompassing me. If I am not worthy of receiving the answer to my prayer, then surely You are worthy of favor, and Your mercy encompasses all things, so encompass me with Your mercy. O my God, O Generous One, I ask You by Your Noble Face to send blessings on Muhammad and the family of Muhammad, and to relieve my distress, and to remove my anxiety and grief, and to have mercy on me, and to provide for me from Your bounty. Surely You are the Hearer of prayers, the Near, the Responder.
Sending blessings upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad is among the greatest acts of worship. It is a means for the acceptance of supplications, forgiveness of sins, elevation of ranks, and drawing nearer to Allah. The Ahl al-Bayt (as) have emphasized frequent recitation of Salawaat in all states, as it purifies the heart and perfects deeds.
