🏪 A Market Full of Traders

Long ago, in the city of Kufa, there was a busy market filled with merchants selling food, clothes, and daily goods. People from nearby towns came to buy and sell items. Among all the traders, one merchant was known for something special — his honesty. He always greeted customers with a smile and spoke kindly to everyone.

بہت پہلے، کوفہ شہر میں ایک مصروف بازار تھا جہاں تاجر کھانے پینے کی چیزیں، کپڑے اور روزمرہ کا سامان فروخت کرتے تھے۔ آس پاس کے علاقوں سے لوگ خرید و فروخت کے لیے آتے تھے۔ ان تمام تاجروں میں ایک تاجر اپنی ایک خاص خوبی کی وجہ سے مشہور تھا — اس کی ایمانداری۔ وہ ہمیشہ گاہکوں کو مسکراہٹ کے ساتھ خوش آمدید کہتا اور سب سے نرمی سے بات کرتا تھا۔

💰 Choosing Honesty Over Profit

One day, a customer came to buy grain. The merchant noticed that some of the grain bags were slightly damaged. He could have hidden this and sold them anyway. But he chose honesty. He clearly told the customer about the damaged bags and offered a fair price. The customer was surprised and thankful for his truthfulness.

ایک دن ایک گاہک اناج خریدنے آیا۔ تاجر نے دیکھا کہ اناج کے کچھ تھیلے تھوڑے سے خراب ہیں۔ وہ چاہتا تو یہ بات چھپا کر انہیں بیچ سکتا تھا۔ لیکن اس نے ایمانداری کا انتخاب کیا۔ اس نے گاہک کو صاف صاف تھیلوں کے بارے میں بتایا اور مناسب قیمت رکھی۔ گاہک اس کی سچائی پر حیران اور شکر گزار ہوا۔

🤝 Trust Brings Blessings

Soon, people started talking about the honest merchant of Kufa. More customers came to him because they trusted his words. Even though he never cheated, his business grew stronger every day. He believed that Allah blesses those who earn with honesty and fairness.

جلد ہی لوگ کوفہ کے اس ایماندار تاجر کے بارے میں بات کرنے لگے۔ زیادہ گاہک اس کے پاس آنے لگے کیونکہ وہ اس کی بات پر بھروسہ کرتے تھے۔ حالانکہ وہ کبھی دھوکہ نہیں دیتا تھا، پھر بھی اس کا کاروبار دن بہ دن مضبوط ہوتا گیا۔ وہ یقین رکھتا تھا کہ اللہ ایمانداری اور انصاف سے کمانے والوں کو برکت دیتا ہے۔

📚 What We Learn from This Story

This story teaches us that honesty is the best policy, especially in business. Cheating may bring quick money, but honesty brings trust, respect, and blessings. When we are truthful in our work and dealings, we follow the beautiful values taught in Islam and build strong character.

یہ کہانی ہمیں سکھاتی ہے کہ خاص طور پر کاروبار میں ایمانداری سب سے بہترین اصول ہے۔ دھوکہ وقتی فائدہ دے سکتا ہے، لیکن ایمانداری اعتماد، عزت اور برکت لاتی ہے۔ جب ہم اپنے کام اور لین دین میں سچائی اختیار کرتے ہیں تو ہم اسلام کی خوبصورت تعلیمات پر عمل کرتے ہیں اور مضبوط کردار بناتے ہیں۔
