Opening Invocation

بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْمِ

اللہ کے نام سے شروع جو نہایت مہربان، بار بار رحم کرنے والا ہے۔

In the name of Allah, the Most Merciful, the Most Compassionate.

Description of Hardship

إِلهِي عَظُمَ البَلاءُ وَبَرِحَ الخَفاءُ وَانْكَشَفَ الغِطاءُ

اے میرے معبود! مصیبت بہت بڑھ گئی ہے، چھپی ہوئی بات ظاہر ہو گئی ہے اور پردہ ہٹ چکا ہے۔

My Lord, the calamity has become severe, what was hidden has become manifest, and the veil has been lifted.

Loss of Hope and Distress

وَانْقَطَعَ الرَّجاءُ وَضاقَتِ الأَرْضُ وَمُنِعَتِ السَّماءُ

امید ٹوٹ چکی ہے، زمین تنگ ہو گئی ہے اور آسمان کی برکتیں رک گئی ہیں۔

Hope has been cut off, the earth has become constricted, and the heavens have withheld their blessings.

Reliance upon Allah

وَأَنْتَ المُسْتَعانُ وَإِلَيْكَ المُشْتَكَى وَعَلَيْكَ المُعَوَّلُ فِي الشَّدِّةِ وَالرَّخاءِ

تو ہی مددگار ہے، تیری ہی بارگاہ میں فریاد ہے، اور سختی و آسانی میں تجھ ہی پر بھروسا ہے۔

You alone are the One sought for help; to You complaints are made, and upon You reliance is placed in hardship and ease.

Salawat upon Muhammad and Aal-e-Muhammad

اللّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلى مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ أَولِي الأَمْرِ الَّذِينَ فَرَضْتَ عَلَيْنا طاعَتَهُمْ وَعَرَّفْتَنا بِذلِكَ مَنْزِلَتَهُمْ

اے اللہ! محمد اور آلِ محمد پر درود بھیج، وہ پیشوا جن کی اطاعت تو نے ہم پر فرض کی اور جن کا مقام ہمیں پہچنوایا۔

O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad, the leaders whose obedience You made obligatory upon us and whose rank You made known to us.

Plea for Immediate Relief

فَفَرِّجْ عَنَّا بِحَقِّهِمْ فَرَجاً عاجِلاً قَرِيباً كَلَمْحِ البَصَرِ أَوْ هُوَ أَقْرَبُ

پس ان کے حق کے واسطے ہمیں جلد اور قریب نجات عطا فرما، پلک جھپکنے کے برابر یا اس سے بھی زیادہ قریب۔

So grant us relief by their right—an immediate and near relief, like the blink of an eye, or even closer.

Calling upon Muhammad and Ali (A.S.)

يامُحَمَّدُ ياعَلِيُّ ياعَلِيُّ يامُحَمَّدُ إكْفِيانِي فَإنَّكُما كافِيانِ وَانْصُرانِي فَإنَّكُما ناصِرانِ

اے محمد! اے علی! اے علی! اے محمد! مجھے کافی ہو جاؤ کہ تم دونوں کافی ہو، میری مدد کرو کہ تم دونوں مددگار ہو۔

O Muhammad, O Ali! O Ali, O Muhammad! Suffice me, for you both are sufficient; help me, for you both are helpers.

Calling upon Imam al-Mahdi (A.J.)

يامَوْلانا ياصاحِبَ الزَّمانِ الغَوْثَ الغَوْثَ الغَوْثَ، أَدْرِكْنِي أَدْرِكْنِي أَدْرِكْنِي، السَّاعَةَ السَّاعَةَ السَّاعَةَ، العَجَلَ العَجَلَ العَجَلَ

اے ہمارے مولا، اے صاحبِ زمانہ! فریاد، فریاد، فریاد! میری مدد کو پہنچو، ابھی، اسی وقت، جلدی، جلدی، جلدی!

O our Master, O Master of the Time! Help, help, help! Reach me, reach me, reach me—this moment, this moment, this moment—hasten, hasten, hasten!

Closing Supplication

ياأَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمينَ بِحَقِّ مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِهِ الطّاهِرِينَ

اے سب سے زیادہ رحم کرنے والے! محمد اور ان کی پاکیزہ آل کے صدقے۔

O Most Merciful of the merciful, by the right of Muhammad and his purified family.
